How to use screen repair tape?
Screen repair tape is a self-adhesive repair material designed specifically for repairing door and window screens. It uses glass fiber mesh or polyester fiber substrate, and is coated with a high viscosity acrylic adhesive layer on the surface.
Using specialized repair tape is a quick and effective solution for damaged screen windows. It is particularly suitable for repairing small holes in the middle of screen windows.
The entire repair process can be summarized into the following four steps:

| 3. Cutting and pasting | Cut the repair tape that is at least 2-3 centimeters larger than the area around the hole. Tear off the backing adhesive, align and paste from the indoor side, and press firmly for a few seconds. | The tape must completely cover the hole and leave enough margin, which is the key to repairing firmly. |
| 4. Check and reinforce | After pasting, check if the edges are tightly adhered. If there are bubbles, gently scrape them flat. For slightly larger holes, consider using the "cross cross method" to stick two layers of reinforcement. | Avoid pulling or getting wet with force within 24 hours after pasting. |
This method mainly targets the holes in the middle of the mesh. If the damage occurs at the edge of the screen or separates from the pressure strip, the repair tape may not be effective due to insufficient adhesion area. In this case, it is recommended to replace the entire screen.
It is recommended to choose fiberglass repair tape specifically designed for screen windows, as it has stronger weather resistance. Ordinary transparent tape is prone to aging and peeling, and is not recommended for use.
