Material and equipment inspection
◉ Ensure that the surface of the marking tape is free from damage, deformation, or aging.
◉ Prepare tools such as primer, adhesive, expansion bolts (if auxiliary fixation is required), pressure rollers, rubber hammers, brooms, hair dryers, etc.
◉ Testing environmental conditions: air temperature ≥ 5 ℃, ground temperature ≥ 10 ℃, avoid rainy days or insufficiently dry road surfaces (dry for more than 24 hours after rain).
Base treatment
◉ Cleaning the road surface: Thoroughly remove dust, oil stains, and debris, and if necessary, use a wire brush to treat floating objects or loose particles.
◉ Polishing and filling: Polish or fill uneven road surfaces to ensure that the base smoothness meets the requirements.
◉ Measurement and laying out: According to the design drawings, mark the marking position with chalk or bullet lines, and control the error within the standard range.

Primer application and marking tape laying
Primer construction
◉ Mixing primer: Mix according to the product instructions to ensure uniformity.
◉ Brushing method: Use a spray gun or roller brush to evenly brush the marked area, 1-2cm beyond the contour line, with a thickness controlled at 0.1-0.2mm. Wait for the primer to dry until it is not sticky to the hands (usually 10-15 minutes).

Laying of marking tape
◉ Cutting marking tape: Cut the marking tape according to the layout size, and the edges should be neat and free of burrs.
◉ Paste operation: Tear off the isolation paper on the back of the marking tape, align and paste along the contour line, gradually advance from one end, and avoid the generation of bubbles.
◉ Pressure treatment:
● Use a pressure roller or rubber hammer to repeatedly roll the marking tape, especially at the corners, to ensure complete adhesion with the road surface.
● If bubbles appear, a sharp tool can be used to puncture the exhaust and re compact it.

Auxiliary fixation and special treatment
Fixed method
◉ Adhesive fixation: Suitable for conventional road surfaces, use high-strength adhesives (such as polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesives) to ensure adhesion.
◉ Mechanical fixation: During the construction of bends, high traffic areas, or long marking strips, expansion bolts or rivets can be used to assist in fixation and enhance the anti stripping force.
◉ Asphalt pavement: Newly laid asphalt needs to be opened to traffic for 10 days before construction to ensure that floating dust is completely removed.
◉ Cement pavement: New cement pavement needs to be open to traffic for more than 20 days, and construction can only be carried out after the surface slurry is removed.

Quality acceptance
◉ Check the flatness, reflective performance, and adhesive strength of the marking tape, and use tools such as a reverse reflection coefficient measuring instrument to test.
◉ The edge of the marking strip and the road surface are not raised, and the gap width is ≤ 1mm.
Maintenance and opening time
◉ Avoid sudden braking or heavy load crushing of vehicles within 24 hours after construction to ensure complete curing of the adhesive.
